Compressed-Air Receivers

Details

Compressed-air receivers provide stored air capacity and help buffer changes in plant demand. Wet receivers are positioned before the relevant air-treatment stages, while dry receivers store treated air downstream. Vertical and horizontal configurations can be considered according to available space, connection layout and the specified duty. Vessel volume, allowable pressure, design temperature and corrosion protection require application-specific confirmation. A supply package may include a correctly selected relief valve, pressure gauge and condensate drain. The required construction code, inspection documents and nameplate information should be identified at enquiry stage and confirmed for the offered OEM vessel.

For selection: Required volume or demand profile; Operating and design pressure; Design temperature; Compressed-air quality; Connection sizes and orientation; Applicable code and documentation

Item

  • Vertical compressed-air receivers
  • Horizontal compressed-air receivers
  • Point-of-use buffer receivers
  • OEM gasket and seal kits
  • Compatible condensate-drain service kits
  • Selected safety relief valves
  • Pressure gauges and isolation fittings

Process & Mixing Vessels

Details

Pressure-rated process vessels hold, mix or condition liquids within a defined industrial process. Enquiries may cover plain holding vessels, agitated vessels and jacketed arrangements where heating or cooling is required. The process medium, concentration, corrosion behaviour and cleaning method inform the wetted material and seal selection. Operating pressure, vacuum exposure and temperature must be defined separately from the requested vessel volume. Nozzle positions, agitation requirements and internal features are reviewed against the process specification. The final offer should identify the OEM design basis, included instruments and documentation, with pressure certification stated only for the specific vessel supplied.

For selection: Fluid composition and concentration; Working and total volume; Pressure, vacuum and temperature cases; Material and finish; Agitation and thermal duty; Nozzle schedule and required documentation

Item

Expansion & Surge-Control Vessels

Details

Expansion and hydropneumatic vessels accommodate changes in liquid volume or support pressure stability in compatible water and process-utility circuits. Diaphragm and bladder designs separate the liquid from the gas cushion, with the configuration selected for the intended service. Expansion duty, pressure-maintenance duty and surge-control duty require different sizing information and should not be treated as interchangeable. Enquiries should state the liquid, system volume, temperature range, operating pressures and connection details. Replaceable bladders or diaphragms are available only where the OEM design permits them. Potable-water suitability and any construction-code requirement must be confirmed for the selected model.

For selection: Liquid and system volume; Minimum and maximum temperature; Operating and design pressure; Required acceptance volume or surge study; Connection size; Potable-water and code requirements

Item

  • Hydronic expansion vessels
  • Diaphragm pressure vessels
  • Replaceable-bladder pressure vessels
  • Application-selected surge-control vessels
  • OEM replacement bladders where serviceable
  • Diaphragm kits where serviceable
  • Flange gaskets

Vessel Accessories & Replacement Components

Details

Pressure-vessel accessories support pressure indication, condensate removal and access for the specified equipment. Typical enquiries include gauges, compatible drains, vessel connections and correctly selected pressure-relief devices. Replacement manway gaskets, seals and bladder components must be checked against the original vessel identification and service conditions. Dimensions alone do not establish suitability for pressure service. Provide the OEM name, model, serial number, nameplate details and relevant drawings when requesting replacement items. Relief-device selection and settings require the responsible designer’s specification. The supply record should identify the included components and the documentation available for the particular order.

For selection: Vessel OEM/model and serial number; Nameplate photograph; Medium and service temperature; Component part numbers; Connection and sealing details; Required certification or traceability

Item

  • OEM accessory kits
  • Replacement vessel connection assemblies
  • Model-specific service component sets
  • Manway and handhole gaskets
  • Approved elastomer seals
  • Serviceable bladder kits
  • Condensate-drain wear kits
  • Pressure gauges and gauge valves
  • Specified relief devices
  • Automatic condensate drains
  • Compatible level instruments

Where products are used

Applications of Products

Specify receivers and process vessels around the medium, operating conditions and documentation required for the exact duty.

Central compressed-air rooms

Air receivers provide storage volume within a plant's compressed-air arrangement. Wet or dry receiver location, design pressure and condensate management determine the vessel and compatible gauge, drain and relief components.

Pneumatic production stations

A suitably sized local air receiver can buffer short changes in demand near pneumatic equipment. Selection follows the demand profile, available pressure, connection arrangement and required vessel documentation.

Chemical batch plants

Pressure-rated holding or agitated vessels contain compatible process liquids during defined batch stages. Wetted materials, seals, nozzle positions and the separate pressure and vacuum cases follow the process specification.

Temperature-controlled processes

Jacketed process vessels provide a specified arrangement for heating or cooling the contents. Product and jacket conditions, agitation requirements and thermal duty must be defined in the OEM vessel design basis.

Closed-loop building plant

Expansion vessels accommodate liquid-volume changes in compatible heating or cooling circuits. System volume, temperature range and operating pressures guide the acceptance volume and diaphragm or bladder selection.

Pumped utility networks

Hydropneumatic vessels can form part of an engineered pressure-maintenance or surge-control arrangement. Vessel sizing, connection details and any replacement bladder specification follow the relevant system calculations or surge study.
