Instrument Transformers, Oil-Immersed Voltage Transforer

Instrument Transformers, Oil-Immersed Voltage Transforer

Instrument Transformers are specially designed heavy-duty transformers built to supply high-current, low-voltage power to electric arc furnaces (EAF), ladle furnaces (LRF), and submerged arc furnaces (SAF). These transformers endure extreme thermal and mechanical stresses due to frequent short circuits and fluctuating loads inherent in furnace operations. Equipped with On-Load Tap Changers (OLTC) for precise voltage regulation, robust tank construction, and advanced cooling systems. Available from 1MVA to 100MVA, fully compliant with IS 2026, IEC 60076, and relevant industrial standards
