Auto Transformers (ICT), Oil-Immersed Voltage Transformer
Auto Transformers (Interconnecting / ICT) are high-capacity transformers used in extra-high-voltage (EHV) transmission networks for interconnecting two voltage levels within the same grid. Unlike conventional two-winding transformers, auto transformers share a common winding between primary and secondary, resulting in reduced size, lower losses, and higher efficiency. Designed for 132kV to 400kV systems with capacities from 10MVA to 500MVA, they are fully compliant with IS 2026 and IEC 60076 standards
