The isolators shall comply with IEC 60129 standards and be of triple-pole, spring-assisted, hand-operated, non-automatic type with quick-break contacts. The operating handle will have three clearly marked positions: ON, OFF, and EARTH, with a suitable padlocking arrangement available in any position. For safety, a locking mechanism shall be provided to prevent direct operation from the ON position to the EARTH position in a single step.
